My Favorite Foods

There are many foods I enjoy and for this blog post I’m going to try to rank my top five. I love going out to restaurants and trying new foods, but these food combinations are tried and true. Thai Fried Rice: This food is heavenly. I could eat Thai fried rice every week for the rest of my life and not get sick of it. This is hands down my favorite food of all time. I used to enjoy Chinese fried rice until I tasted Thai. I think it has to do with the seasonings and spices they put in it. I always get my Thai fried rice with chicken because I’m allergic to shrimp. I’m getting allergy tested the second week of June to see if I outgrew my allergy and if I did, I might have a new variation of fried rice to try. Thai Jasmine in Lima, Ohio is my favorite Thai restaurant ever, it’s a must visit.       Steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans: This is a classic combination. The Music I Listen To

I grew up listening to music. My parents and grandparents always had Christian, 80s, Irish and Elvis Presley playing. They had music playing while making dinner, cleaning and even while we just hung out around the house. I started playing the piano in 5 th grade for my church and I started playing clarinet in my school band in 6 th grade. I would have to say that playing instruments gave me a lot more respect for those that play instruments and sing for a living, it’s not easy. As for my personal preference of music growing up, I listened to 2000s pop, Christian and the collection of songs that my parents listened to that I enjoyed. I had a pop phase in the 2010s and then an alternative and indie phase when I was a senior in high school until I was a sophomore in college. Junior and senior year of college I listened to alternative rock, 80s rock and most recently phonk. For those of you who don’t know, phonk originated from Memphis in the 1990s.
