Pinterest: An App Full of Aesthetic Pictures

Pinterest is one of my favorite social media apps because there’s no pressure to create your own posts. You can if you’re feeling creative, but there’s already a plethora of pictures on the app to look at. For those of you that don’t use Pinterest, you can “pin” pictures you find interesting to “boards”. All the pictures you “pin” will be saved to your home page and to organize them, you can rename the “boards” and save pictures that you find in the future to them. The Pinterest algorithm relies on what you’ve previously pinned and shows recommendations based on what it thinks you would like to look at and what’s popular with similar users on the app. What’s nice about Pinterest is that if you find a recipe or activity you’d like to learn how to do, there’s almost always a link to the website in the post information.
