There are many foods I enjoy and for this blog post I’m
going to try to rank my top five. I love going out to restaurants and trying new
foods, but these food combinations are tried and true.
Thai Fried Rice: This food is heavenly. I could
eat Thai fried rice every week for the rest of my life and not get sick of it.
This is hands down my favorite food of all time. I used to enjoy Chinese fried
rice until I tasted Thai. I think it has to do with the seasonings and spices
they put in it. I always get my Thai fried rice with chicken because I’m
allergic to shrimp. I’m getting allergy tested the second week of June to see
if I outgrew my allergy and if I did, I might have a new variation of fried
rice to try. Thai Jasmine in Lima, Ohio is my favorite Thai restaurant ever, it’s
a must visit.

Steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans: This is
a classic combination. You can get it at any steakhouse, but my favorite place
to get it is at my house. My dad uses a propane grill with wood chips wrapped
in aluminum foil to cook the steak to perfection and it has a good smoky
flavor. He handmakes the mashed potatoes and uses fresh green beans from his
garden. I also like steak from any steakhouse that is not a chain. However, the
green beans with bacon bits from Texas Roadhouse are amazing. I usually get an
extra order of those.
A good salad: For a salad to be a good salad it
needs to have a couple of key toppings. I love chicken on my salad, cheese,
tomatoes, cucumbers, and ranch dressing. I also like to add fried peppers and
onions to give the salad an additional flavor.
Pasta: This is one of my easy go-to meals. It’s
so simple to make and tastes amazing every time. I like to have my pasta with
marinara sauce, a collection of herbs and a meat sauce. I add olive oil, salt
and pepper to the noodles and then mix in the meat, marinara sauce, herbs, onion,
and garlic.
McDonald’s fries with buffalo sauce: This is an
elite combination. I discovered this when I was young and had leftover buffalo
sauce after eating all of my chicken nuggets. I eat this occasionally because McDonald’s
fries aren’t too good for you. I will purposely order buffalo sauce on the
side, even if I’m not getting nuggets.
Wow, this is an interesting combination of foods. I agree with you that all of these foods are good, and especially on what you said makes a salad a good one.
ReplyDeleteI have never tried fries with buffalo sauce, although it does sound interesting!
